How Do the FaceTite™ and NeckTite™ Procedures Work?

This new radiofrequency-based treatment is the first device on the market able to offer patients surgery-like results without the scalpel or scars. Using FaceTite™ and NeckTite™ technology, our physicians are able to achieve results similar to a mini facelift.

FaceTite™

During a FaceTite™ procedure, a probe is inserted beneath the skin’s surface through a tiny needle hole, and used to deliver energy into the tissues. This probe serves to precisely control heat in the targeted area without causing unwanted thermal damage.

The FaceTite™ applicator consists of two elements – the probe placed in the fatty layer of tissue, and the external electrode. Bipolar RF energy travels between the internal probe and the external electrode generating localized heat. This directional deep heating of the entire soft-tissue matrix allows for significant skin tightening and contouring.

The process stimulates contraction and collagen formation by thermal effect to the skin, as well as stimulating the fibroblasts within the dermis to generate more collagen. The result is noticeable shrinking and tightening of the skin. The FaceTite™ procedure can tighten skin by as much as 40%, a result that is simply unmatched by other systems.

NeckTite™

The NeckTite™ procedure utilizes the same RFAL treatment technology used with the FaceTite™ applicator. However, rather than using a silicone coated probe, the NeckTite™ procedure inserts a tiny cannula which is used to suck up the heated fat.

In addition to the removal of excess fat from the neck region, the coinciding skin tightening can completely re-contour this area, improving loose skin under the jawline. For many patients, this new treatment can allow them to avoid a surgical neck lift altogether, and for others, it can allow the physician to perform a significantly less extensive neck lift.
